Creative Crew 06
Waterstart has now started a new project this year called Creative Crew to assist young people to achieve training, cultural enhancement and allow them to express their creative side. This individual project has been made possible with funding provided by the Local Network Fund and South Yorkshire Community Foundation.
This activity combines our Junior Crew Course, Digital Photography, Adobe Photoshop and Web Site Design by publishing participant's captured images or learning diaries to our website. The Junior Crew Course is a segment of an established Skipper's Course and provides all the skills and knowledge needed to act as crew on a community boat. While undergoing crew training, we encourage our participants to use our onboard digital cameras to record their own progress and capture local waterway's images. Finally, kids get to build unique web pages and exibit their work on this web site.
